Petersfield Dog Training Club meet on Wednesday evenings at the Community Centre, Love Lane, Petersfield. We hold several different classes ranging from the Puppy Foundation Course through to the Gold Good Citizen Scheme. We also offer Competition Obedience training,  so a wide range of classes to suit dogs of all ages and standards. We are a small and friendly club, established over 30 years ago, and the only Kennel Club registered Obedience club for miles. Our rates are very competitive, an 8 week course costs 30 pounds. We are able to keep our prices low as we do not run at a profit and as a K.C registered club run by  a Commitee we are answerable to the K.C. 

Aswell as the weekly dog training classes, our club takes part in The Hampshire Rally, a meeting of various Dog Clubs in and around Hampshire for a fun and friendly Obedience competition once a year. Members are encouraged to come along and offer support and even take part at all levels.

The Petersfield Champion Obedience Show is also supported by PDTS. This takes place once a year and members can actively help out and/or enter the show which takes place at Penns Place, Petersfield. Dog handlers from all over the country and even abroad come and take part in the show every year with their sights very firmly set on earning that ticket to Crufts!

The club also holds an AGM where the years activities are discussed and various presentations take place. This has always been great for moral and shows how great teamwork can produce confident dog handlers and very happy dogs!
